Quick Answer
Galleries are private by default and reachable only by their link. Password protection is available when a client wants a second layer.
Voice is more personal than a photograph. A guest who would happily be photographed will still ask who is going to hear the thing they just said into a handset.
Clients ask the same handful of questions. Having a straight answer ready is the difference between a booking and a maybe.
Who can find this gallery
Only someone with the link. Galleries are not indexed and there is no public directory to browse. Nobody stumbles onto a wedding gallery.
That is the accurate answer, and it has a limit worth stating. A link that gets forwarded works for whoever receives it. If a client wants control beyond that, they want a password.
Can we password protect it
Yes. Set a password on the gallery and the link alone is no longer enough. Clients sharing with a wide family group often want this, and corporate clients almost always do.
Tell them the tradeoff honestly. Every person they share with now needs two things instead of one, and someone will lose the password. For a small family gallery that friction is usually not worth it. For a company event it is.
Can we remove a message
Yes. Messages can be hidden from the gallery. This comes up more than operators expect. A guest who had too much to drink, an ex-partner who called in, a message that lands wrong.
Being able to say "we can take that out" without hesitating is worth a great deal to a client who is already embarrassed.
How long do you keep it
Storage runs six months on the per-event plan and twelve on monthly. Say the real number.
Then tell them what to do about it. Clients should download the ZIP archive and keep their own copy. Operators who make that part of handoff get fewer messages a year later asking whether the gallery is still up.
What you should not say
Do not promise a gallery is permanent. Do not say messages are encrypted end to end unless you know what that means and it is true. Clients rarely catch an overstatement at the time, and they always catch it later.
Accurate answers are easier to keep giving.
